Can cats eat cheese?
Okay in small amounts
A nibble of cheese won't usually harm a cat, but most cats are lactose-intolerant.

🐶 Can dogs eat this? →Why
Adult cats lack much of the enzyme needed to digest dairy, so cheese can cause an upset stomach. It's also fatty and salty, so it should be a rare, tiny treat at most.
If you do share it
At most, a pea-sized piece of plain cheese now and then — stop if it causes any digestive upset.
